For many years, we in CMA have appreciated the support we have received from our friends in the media. Addicts cannot recover if they do not know that we exist. You have assisted in saving countless lives. We seek your continued cooperation in protecting the anonymity of our members at the public level. Anonymity is the foundation of all CMA Traditions.
We ask, therefore, that in presenting CMA members:
- You use first names only. Pseudonyms are encouraged,
- You do not use pictures in which their faces may be recognized.
Please do not attend “closed” meetings as a member of the media.
Our Traditions state that we have no opinion on outside issues and we endorse no outside enterprises. Any requests for opinions or endorsements will be respectfully declined.
Throughout the world, favorable media coverage has been one of the principal means of bringing Crystal Meth Addicts into our fellowship. You have helped make this possible, and for that we thank you.*
